In the last few months I have noticed my Purple seria and my Nana are really taking off. And now they are growing into each others spaceI decided to let it go, as to trimming them back, to see just way would happen. I know the picture isn't that good. I took it with Actinics only on this morning. I will try to get a better picture later today.

Got a better picture I hope. I was thinking that one coral would die from the stings of the other one. But after seeing this picture you can see the seriatapora has polyps extending after the nana has grown over it's branch. Thus seperating it from the main colony. I see that two different seria branches have been totaly covered by the nana, but neither coral has died off were they have come into contact. So now I have two different species of corals on one branch. I also noticed that the Seria is growing in close to my orange branching monti and a green slimer acropora, wondering if I will get the same situtation. I don't so but would be nice.

Cool pics Tracey, I had a similar situation with two varieties of Montipora digitata, I mounted both an orange and a green frag on a single rock, eventually they grew together and it seemed they were quite content living within the same space, and then months later the orange began to overtake the green and in the end I ended up with a large colony of orange M. digitata with green tips /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
