I have been shopping for a ro/di unit and have come across this vendor out of florida. any thoughts?

Price sure is right but to tell you the truth I would investigate them more. I would call the Better Business Bureau and check up on their claims of being in business since 1984. This place is in Florida so beware just because it is the state where Dave Visovatti began and operated Reefpure. He then made all kinds of claims to get business and dissapeared with peoples money. Later is was even found out that substandard parts were being used and passed as something else. Not saying this is indeed him or a shady business but one has to check up on things like this. It is not like you are buying from Premium Aquatics or Champion Lighting with a known good reputation. I am leary of any mail order company unless I hear from multiple people that have had good experience.

Coupled with the unknown and that too good too be true price I would be leary. A good 5 stage RO/DI unit is indeed 299.99-349.99 anywhere else so just investigate them before buying anything. I might investigate them as they have a decent price on replacement RO membranes. 55 dollars for a 100 GPD RO membrane is great. Thats about half price of anywhere else and it is a Dow membrane so great deal there.
