Fellow DIY'ers:
We just wanted to let you know that there is only one week left before registration ends for the MACO DIY Calcium Reactor class.
The intent of this course is to provide you with the basic skills required to design and construct quality and professional acrylic products for aquarium use. Materials selection, preparation, fabrication, assembly and finishing will all be taught while producing a CSTR-style (recirculating) calcium reactor. The skills learned in the process of this course will allow students to produce almost any other type of acrylic product they may wish to create in the future. The end product will be constructed using professional techniques, resulting in a high-quality device, and useful skills for future projects. The student should feel comfortable and competent in designing and constructing quality acrylic items at the completion of the course.
For additional information and to sign up for the course, please refer to http://www.reefs.org/maco/index.php
Hope to see you there!
