Hello David and Old Ron,
It is great to have ya'll join us. Sorry guys, that I have been out of the loop for a while, seems I can only post at this site from one of my work computers and it isn't easy to sneak off to log on with that one. http://www.reeftalk.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Hopefully, I will be able to get in here more often in the mornings. I know that as the political fieldshows slow down this site will pick up. So don't give up on us too easy.

Hiya Tracey,
Thanks for the welcome, I see on your signature your love of diving, do you do much? I am a commercial diver amongst other things, thousands of dives, this is where I got my love of marine critters.
Whet sort of diving do you do, my commercial diving is mostly less than 100' deep. I find that deeper than this visually things get pretty bland and uninteresting, when I go out with my kids we tend to stick to water lesss than 10' deep, this is where I find the most amazing colors, fish life and interesting things to see.
This is how I got the idea of starting to captive breed seahorses, I see lots of them in the wild, and was talking to a mate, by chance, many years ago and he mentioned about their plight and my wife and i thought well, why not captive breed for the hobyists. We now breed and sell seahoreses, exporting 5 different species.
My love is Tuna and water quality, Tracy, (my wife) looks after the seahorses

Hi David,
Actually, I don't dive, my daughter and my son are certified, And I tryed to go with them to get certification also. But I have this fear of being under water. It has something to do with almost drowning as a teenager. I always believed that you should try to face your fears and that one day you will overcome them. I haven't suceeded yet on that one, but I can get in the water to my shoulders now, so it is getting better. We are suppose to go to Greece this summer and the kids are really excited about diving there. My Brother in law dives there, so I know that they will be safe with him, and they are really good about their equipment. I am just glad that my fears have not stopped them from trying to do things they enjoy. I wouldn't want them to miss out on the oceans beauty. Maybe one day I will get my head under water. http://www.reeftalk.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif My signature reprecents my love of big tanks. I have a 255 gallon DIY show tank that is a 410 gallon total volume system.
