Hi all.. New here.
I'm military and just returned from overseas and I'm setting up my 75gal reef again.
However, I can't remember the web address of the place I always purchased my tank livestock from...
I'm now stationed in California, does anyone have any good links to cheap places to purchase quality live stock?..
Thanks in Advance

Hi Daniel, Welcome. cheap! are we talking reef? cheap! hmmm
when you say setting up a reef again I would guess you have been around a while and know there is no such animal. now days we look for quality, pays off in the long run cheap means animals collected the wrong way. There are several great dealers with good ethics and quality with decent prices, some are in CA, I will post some of my favotites and perhaps others will also. Have you ever considered seahorses?

HMM Two big Etailers out in California would be Flyish Fish and Marine Depot. There web addresses are http://www.ffexpress.com and http://www.marinedepot.com respectively.

Thanks for the responses..
Omegatron, you hit the nail on the head.. as soon as I read flying fish express.. the hagen light in the head turned on.. lol.. That was one of the places I always purchased from.
And as far as cheap goes.. I'm only a ground pounder and I can't spell for beans, but I know that a sm yellow tail damsel shouldn't cost me $25 bucks.. ;-)
I just don't want to be taken to the cleaners by slick rick.
I really like this board. So I guess you'll be seeing more of me here http://www.reeftalk.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/moron.gif
Thanks for all the help.

Hey Daniel was just on my way back to you, Chuck did the
contacts that I have used and was going to recomend. there are lots of good dealers out there. the shipping is the killer. Ripoffs are not as bad as they used to be, [I think that is due to these forum sites. if a dealer goofs off we let the world know about it] hard to do business if you are not above board. very happy you are going to hang around, keep posting. "Yea! Reef central it ain't" http://www.reeftalk.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

LOL!
Chuck, I don't know if you're aware that FFE was bought by Foster&Smith and former employees I believe have opened another store. I think they called it reefermadnes http://www.reefermadness.us/

right your Zhenya, And the price of there corals includes shipping. My club has placed a large order with them, and they have been very helpful. We are to receive the corals tomorrow morning (saturday). I will be able to express better once I have seen the corals that we picked out as to the ones we receive. They are Walt Smith Corals, so they should be great.
