Hi All,
Some of my automation articles can found on the ReefCon 2000 website. The URL is infinitysoft.net/. The articles are under the automation tab at top right of the page. I have just sent some more articles up and Chad should have them on the site soon. The automated water changer should be completed by the end of this weekend. Let me know what you think.
I have some Excel spreadsheets that maybe of use to some of you.
1. Photoperiod calculator: This sets up timing intervals for various lights. It keeps track of when bulbs were installed and the hours that they are lit and prompts the user when to order replacements and when bulbs should be replaced.
2. Water Change Mathematics: This spreadsheet tells you the effect of water changes based on frequency and percentage of change.
3. Power Minder: Helps determine the cost of operating various devices in your system. It also does an inventory of X-10 devices and their codes then makes a programmer cheat sheet of all codes used.
If anybody is interested in playing with any of these spreadsheets, please e-mail me and I will e-mail them to you. If you have a site and want to post them there that’s fine.
So what are you all working on? I would love to hear about your projects.
