125gal LIGHTING????

Hi i have a 125gal tank and i was wondering how much it would cost for 5 watts per gallon is their anyone that has any used lights? I dont have a canopy so it will be rather expesive. Do any of you know where and how i can get cheap lights? I work at Jewel-Osco and only get 12hrs a week which is around 60 dollars a week and all my money to date has gone towards my tank. So plzzzz help me find a good deal!!!!

start by checking out used supplies in this and other reef forums. If you have a local club in your area, most reefers upgrade and would love to sell you their used products.

Looking for used equipment is best if your budget tight.

To get where you want with lighting on a tank that size it will cost you about $ 600.00 for the parts and maybe a few bucks extra to buy wood for a hood you could make. Provided you have the time and skills to make a retro hood.

Now for a full blown hood full retail about 800.00

Still used I can see you paying somewhere between 400-500 dollars easy.
