Nitrates

I recently purchased a sweet deal on a sump. I have a 125 with two Marineland Emps 400 running. I was going to change out to this new wet dry but someone said "Those wet/drys are nothing but nitrate factorys." Is this true? My system has been up for 2yrs and I don't want to screw up my little ocean. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif Heres a peek.

Wet dry is a nitrate factory. you would be better off putting a refuge on your system.

Refugiums and sumped systems are the way to go. Wet/Dry is a thing of the past and a nitrate factory.
