I am getting back into marine aquaria after 10+ yrs out of hobby and things have changed alot. I am doing my research but am looking for advise on the best lighting for a 72g Bowfront, I am planning on having a reef tank with soft corals and reef safe fish (clowns, mandarins, gobies, and blennies) many of which will be added long down the road. I have learned to take my time and let every thing cycle, In the future I might want to add a BTA and want to have proper lighting any suggestions would be appreciated

The easiest approach would be two 250 watt Halides and a couple PC even though I like VHO. With PC you could angle the two front ones to a point. There are many many things you can do. You can light the tank with all VHO or PC. Tell me what your budget is like and which you would prefer to go Halide or others. I can suggest Halide time after time and there are people that will not go that route so lets narrow things down to what you will do.
