I have an icecap 430 with 2 75W 24" vho bulbs attached to it. This ballast is able to run 2 more 75 w bulbs so I am wondering how to go about upgrading? What would I need to purchase - water proof endcaps, wiring? Is there somewhere I can buy the wiring harness with endcaps attached and just get someone who knows more about electric stuff than me to help me attach the other ends to the ballast? Would this need to be an IceCap product or can I buy from another company? Any help would be appreciated. I would really like to add another 150 w to my tank! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The only thing you should need are two more bulbs two vho endcaps and some wire.
Do you have specialized wiring already?
All you should need to to do is check your wiring diagram and configure it for 4 bulbs instead of two.

What do you mean by specialized wiring?

What I mean is do you have the specialized wiring brackets some of these things sell or did you wire it retro style.
Does not matter I just checked the Icecap wiring harness and the only connector is the Molex that plugs into the ballast.
The wiring to the bulbs is retro style meaning you need to supply extra wire and wirenuts.
So just buy some extra electrical wire and the german endcaps and some bulbs.
Follow the wiring diagram that came with the ballast for a 4 bulb configuration.
