Is it possible for me to use raw galic in a filter? I have only read about additive types. Some magazines have articles about feeding galic but, I have seen no mention of adding raw galic to as system. Crushed in a media bag. Or what have you.

You can feed raw garlic diluted however it is the garlic juice you want not the pulp which can break down into nitrates like any decaying material /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif It would be alot cheaper just to buy some additives as processing the amount of garlic juice at a retail level in price is not worth it.

There is a Garlic Extreme by Kent that worked well for me. Doesn't stink as much as raw garlic either /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.
