What is the footprint on this skimmer and would you recommend it? Why? (I may be able to purchase a used one so I want to know if 150.00 is a good investment.) Thanks!

I have a EV-120 and a EV-180 the newer models and love both of them. AquaC skimmers are considered by a lot of reefers as one of the better skimmers out there. I think $150 for the 150 with a pump is a decent price. Can not say what the foot print since dont have that particular one but mine have a fairly small foot print for skimmers with tank ratings in the range of AquaC skimmers.

I'm having trouble with my AquaC. It was working fine and then all of a sudden the foam quit going up the tube andf it just bubbleing at the tubes' base. I checked the injector to see if it was clogged and no problem there. I adjusted the water height in the sump and it started working great. Left and came back home and it had dropped again with the water level in the sump not changing. Advice?

Make sure the barrel is cleaned out every 3-4 days, mine will stop if it gets gunked up enough. As soon as I clean it starts working within a couple of hrs
