Need Help! Cloudy water!

I need opinions on what to do. My live sand arrived today for a new aquarium that I am setting up. I was not home and my bf thought he would be helpful and just dumped it in. Now my water looks like a big mud puddle! My question is do I just leave it? Do a water change? Leave all of my pumps running? And how long will it take to clear? I have no animals in there except for the little critters that came with the sand.

just leave it it will eventually clear live sand is heavier than dead sand so it will settle

So do I leave all of the pumps and skimmer running?

leave every thing running and once it settles with bacteria building up on it to wieght it down just clean up the pumps and stuff. The skimmer should help speed up the clearing.
You can run a filter bag or something if you like but no real need to since there is nothing else in the tank.
