Hey all, main page is looking very repetitive all the time so i decided to put up a poll.

What is everybodies favourite Fish/Coral

Mine is: Blue Tang/Leather Coral :P

My favorite fish now is my Flag Fin angle I have been raising from a 1" baby to almost 4" now. Before that is was my naso tang I had to trade to a bigger tank.
Coral I guess is a tri color acro that I am growing out from a 1" frag. Has only grown about 1" but is starting to take off.

Hey all,
I was just wondering, i have a 40 gal. and i wanted to get a Blue Tang. I've been told by people that it wasn't a good idea. is there any way i could raisea blue tang in a 40 gal ?? and also, if you're calculating fish per gallon, if you don't have anything in ur tank, as oppose to a reef tank with lots of rock, would the rock count as space when calculating fish per square inch?

Fish per inch really doesnt work since fish grow fairly fast much like your mentioned blue tang which if you got a tiny one would probably be good for 6 mounths or so before getting to large for your 40.
Some fish like tangs are more open water swimmers and need good swim room with suggesting a 4 foot long tank min for them. Some are also more teritorial than others need more tank room to call home.

I cant decide. I love tangs. I have a powder blue, blue hippo and yellow tang. All beautiful. Love my hammer coral, goniporea? (looks like a flower pot)and devils finger.

My favotite fish is the Achillies Tang. Coral is my purple cauliflower

Though not very exotic, my favorite fish has been my Neon Goby. Every time I stick my hand in the tank, he eagerly swims over, parks on my hand, and gives me a cleaning.
