help! my damsel is eating my other damsel, I put him in a net overnight to protect him, but now what? his tail fin is gone, will it come back

His tail should grow back over time if it is left alone.
THis is the problem with damsels they are just mean little buggers period.
If damsels got as big as sharks, sharks would swim in fear.

Mine lost part of his tail and fin from something in my tank, and it has grown almost entirely back.
