I have had a Macrodactyla doreensis (Long Tentacle anemone)
for three weeks now,it was being hosted by a Clarkii, but scince have removed clarkii in favor of a pair of true perc's. The Question is I am unable to get this anemone to bury it's foot I've closed it in an area of live rock and is sitting on a southdown 3" base.It looks good and is feeding on a silverside every 3-4 days. I really don't want to loose this thing! PLEASE ADVISE!

Let the LTA go where it wants and it will pic a place it prefers not where you prefer.

OK I'll leave it alone, but this morning it was inflated behind some live rock! So just leave it alone still?
Also these freakin perc's are taking a while to relax in the tank it's been three day's,whats the deal?

I had an anemone for my perc's and they preferred a large rock that was covered with hairy mushrooms.. go figure /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I've solved my problem, after reading how these stupid things will propably die after 3-9 monthes,I brought it back to LFS and they gave $40.00 worth of Fiji live rock!
SPS AND LPS AND SOME SOFTIES FROM NOW ON!!!!
