I need some advice on lights and getting an ID on a anemonie

Hey fellas, I'm new to the site... but i have been comming for information for about 6months now. K so from age 13 i haad a saltwater tank started with a 29gal show tank.
I'm now moving in to a 55gal and i need some help with lights and technical stuff. I also need to id an anemoine i paid for it as a condy but im pretty sure its a carpet i gota find out for sure.its in my album... (how do i post it in a post?) other then that i have been doing saltwater since age 12(16 now) at my local science center and now I'm an animal care tech there.... running our 10,000 gallon reef and 15,000 gallon cypress swamp. but as many of you know im sure a large reef is a peice of cake once you have it going and a small ones a pain in the Butt. so yeah as far as the 55 lights i thought about the metal H.'s they put off to much heat for me.. so i looked at VHO's then i saw power compacts wich would be better VHO's or power compacts? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif way to many light choices with the 29 gal it was 50/50 all the way now im lost. can you help me?

I prefer PC over VHo due to bulbs cost and how often you need to replace them. VHO last 6-8 mounths and PC last 10-12 mounths. Current USA just announced thier new 48" 130watt pc bulbs so those should be out any day now. 2of those bulbs should light you tank well.

Oh yes your anemone is what is called a flower anemone. NOt a carpet or condy.

Super thanks Gregg! so the PC's it is now you say 2 of them so 2 12k days and 2 03's right? I'll look in to that usa one but i have a way to get them at whole sale cost through my employer... this is what i call 55gal reef on a rather tight buget.
and the one true condy that i had it was odd he curled up all the time then with in say 3 days of getting it it was dead oh well it was only $1.45 but i still want to know what killed him ran chems all was normal salt was low by a hair but not enough to bother it

If you only had the anemone 3 days it was probably bad when you got it nothing you did.
