shrimp goby

I have been looking into getting a shrimp goby and a pistol shirmp. Has anyone had experience with this relationship? Do they always take to each other in a tank? what are the chances that they will make a home where no one can see them? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

My friend had this strange relationship going on in his tank for a while, and at first it was cool to see but the Pistol shrimp I guess forgot who the hand (fin) was that fed it and made a sushi platter out of the Goby RIP!
So now when we are hangging out we are constantly reminded by the annoying snap that there is a creature residing in his tank that has the force of 22 cal. gun!!! Can you say more of a pain than is worth!!!!!!!!!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif

I had a pistol in my tank for 2 years and only saw it once before moving and cleaning the tank, then I took it out the clicking is kind of annoying
