Hey Guys, I'm coming down to the Clearwater/Orlando/Port Canaveral area and was hoping to bring back some live rock with me. Any body has any good business names I'd appreciate it.
P.S. The reason for the broad area is because I'm dropping my kids of at my parents and driving to the dock for my cruise.
Thanks in advance guys I'll be leaving Saturday.

There is a place just outside of tampa that has really good deas most of the time. I can't remember teh name but I can get you the name and address later on tonight. They sell at a good price and their rock is nice too, very high quality. I think that they sell it for under $3.00 per lb. and you can pick out all of your own peices. Only downside is that they chage 7% sales tax. When I bought my rock I ended up having it shipped because it was cheaper than going down to pick it up and I only live a 100 miles away. Nice rock though, better than anything that I can by in an LFS around here.

Thanks for the info bro. I'll probably get like 20-30 pounds. Ya,I ended up losing my yellow tang, blue chromi, blood shrimp, cleaner shrimp, a few softies shit loads of hermits and snails. I ended up getting a 55 reef ready and set it up over the weekend. It's doing well. just need to build a new light fixture to accept the bigger lighting needs.

Here is a link for a place in Tampa, but its not the place that I went to:
http://www.tbsaltwater.com/

This guy seeds reefs and does all of his own havesting outside of Tampa. He has a pretty interesting video but his prices seem a little bit high. I was tring to find the place that I bought my live rock from and didn't have any luck. I found them on Ebay and then figured everything else out from the ad that they had on there. I looked to try and find them but they don't have any auctions going right now. That could be a bad sign, I don't know what the price of rock is right now, but if it is high they might not bother tring to sell it for deals on Ebay. That Tampa Bay Saltwater guy looks like a pretty cool place to go, I might go if I ever get to Tampa. Good Luck :D

I just ordered 50 lbs. of tbsaltwater live rock...and it is amazing, i have never seen so much growth on any live rock before, i would recommend this above all others. He shipped it to me in sealed containers, with the rock submerged in water, there was less than a 1 percent die off on the total shipment. And the shipping was only 39 dollars through southwest airlines. I have all kinds of corals and sponges growing off of it just 3 weeks after it went into my display tank, and also have 4 or 5 small decorator crabs that came along for the ride and are doing great. There are coutless stars that i have found, but seriously, the best rock i have ever seen. Here is a link to Richards site, www.tbsaltwater.com
