Just wanted to let everyone know that I made my own stockman overflow silencers and what a difference. I thought that my tank was about average when it came to noise but now its almost silent. I also changed out my PVC piping from my overflow to sump with flex tube. That helped a lot too. Man but what a difference. The PVC parts that I needed to make the silencer only cost me $3 and what a great DIY project. The hardest part was figuring out how long I should let the glue dry, hehe. Anyway I know that this is a popular topic amongst a lot of aquarium keepers and thought that I would give my 2 cents.
