Hi, it looks like I am going to be moving to NYC by the end of December. I was wondering if anyone there or in the area knows of a good LFS that I might be able to call. What I want to do is see if I can strike a deal with them to hold onto my live rock, corals and fish while I buy and set up a new system. I fugure I can drive all of this stuff up there overnight and then drop it off at the LFS where my new tank/stand/canopy will be ready for pickup. Then in a couple of days I will pick up the live rock and then the fish and stuff after that. Anyone know who or where I might call, any reputable LFS's in the NYC or surrounding area that might be up for this?

Well it looks like I might need some more help other than just a good quality LFS in NYC. I am now taking suggestions for a 75gal rig. Its going to be a quick build so I am looking for suggestions for a tank/stand and also for a lighting arangment. I am thinking of a all-glass 75gal reefready with a matching stock stand and 2-250MH 20k's w/ 2-110VHO 50/50's for lights. I will most likely build the hoodin place since I have never found a hood for sale that I liked at all :p So haller out what you think would be some good parts / ideas for this rig. I'm looking for sugestions for refugiums/light rigs/plumbing/tanks/stands/skimmers/klak reactors/pumps/yadda..yadda..yadda! Thanks for any help that you might have and I hope that this can be fun for everyone. I might even write a book to go along with this!

Well it looks like I am going to sell the 120 and start all new when I get to NYC. The only hard part is finding a buyer. I was putting a list together of all the stuff that I am going to sell and that is quite a list. Has anyone here ever made an equipment/stuff list of everything that they have fish stuff wise? I am still running into things all the time that I need to add to the list, stuff that I forgot, stuff that I found. Its crazy! When I first started the list I was doing it to try and figure out how much to sell it for. At the halfway point I totaled it up to over $3000. Thats crazy too! I guess when I think about it a lot if the stuff is kind of expensive and over the last year and a half I have accumilated a lot of stuff and it adds up. Upgrades upgrades upgrades, they cost the big bucks and the upgrade allready expensive items. Anyway if any one is interensted I am going to sell the whole system and everything else that I have. Let me know.

Yeah it gets up there man, I think I have a little over 10,000 into all my stuff with all the mistakes and extra things you replace after you figure out you got the wrong thing or it was too small/large or you bought it built when you should have built it yourself.

Well I just listed the tank on Ebay if anyone is interested. Its Item number 130042504866 and bids are starting at $1800. If it doesn't sell by the 9th then I am going to start to part it out starting with the livestock live rock and sand and then all the equipment. I hope it sells, keep your fingers crossed!
