So I was making an overflow box and used Weld On 16 to glue the box together. As I pushed down, excess Weld On came out and is on the plastic on the box. Is this ok to leave or do I have to sand it off?

From what I understand, you shouldn't have to press the acrylic together when useing the cement. The cement actually melts the acrylic and then bonds the two peices that way. The stuff that squished out is probably what is left of the molten plastic and could be sanded off if you wanted to. If you want it to look real pretty, you could sand it off and then buff it out with the right type of emery cloth. Just as a disclaimer, I have never worked with acrylic, or any weldon product, everything that I have just said is just what I have read.
