Description: Marshall Island Rock consists of old coral heads and branches as a result this rock is less dense than Fiji Rock, and more unique in shape to all other live rock that is available. The average size of each rock is much larger than most other South Pacific rock and varies between 8 to 20 inches. This rock is ideal for the larger or show aquarium. As a result of the size and porous nature the recommended weight per gallon is between 0.75 to 1.25 pounds. This live rock is composed of very porous calcium carbonate that is well covered in purple, pink, red, yellow, and green coralline algae. Many branching and plating coralline algae and macroalgae can be found on this rock.
